Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of high-quality, accessible curriculum to students with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
- Work under the direction of the SENCo to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.
- Provide effective support to students with ASD, including behavioral support and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure that all students have access to the curriculum and are able to reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- 5 A*-C grades at GCSE level (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
- Teaching Assistant or Special Needs Support qualification.
- Experience of supporting students with ASD.
- Ability to form effective relationships with students, staff, parents, and fellow professionals.
The role will be working five days per week, term-time plus one training day at the start of the school year. The initial working hours will be Monday and Friday 8:30am to 3:05pm, although this may change from time to time to meet the operational needs of the schools.
