Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to our product development activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining, managing, and executing electrical and techno-economic studies, conformity studies, and engineering and quality assurance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Business and R&D Departments: Collaborate with our business and R&D teams to drive product development activities and other business initiatives.
  • Plan and Execute Studies: Develop and execute techno-economic and electrical studies on the use of our Capacitive Transfer System (CTS) in industrial, export, and distribution systems.
  • Establish and Manage Engineering Programs: Develop and manage electrical design and engineering programs for testing and development of power cable cables design and related applications.
  • Manage Technical Documentation: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and update of technical documentation.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Standards: Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide Compliance Studies: Conduct compliance studies, design Q/A protocols, and establish auditing actions.
  • Manage External Consultants: Oversee the work of external consultants within allocated budgets.
  • Coordinate Lessons Learned: Identify and implement lessons learned from projects, suggesting and executing changes and improvements.
  • Support Research Activities: Collaborate with our R&D team to identify research opportunities and support research activities.
  • High HSE Awareness: Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) awareness and support continuous HSE improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 4 Years of Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical studies or electrical design in a consultancy environment or equivalent industrial area is required.
Desired Skills
  • Design of Industrial Electrical Systems: Proven expertise in designing industrial electrical systems, including distribution systems and protection.
  • Power System Analysis: Proven expertise in power system analysis, preferably using DigSilent PowerFactory or Matlab Simulink.
  • Technical Reporting and Communication: Accurate technical reporting and communication of designs.
  • Production and Verification of Technical Documentation: Production, verification, and filing of technical documentation.
  • Attention to Detail: A passion for details and thoroughness.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Applicable Codes and Standards: Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best industry practices.
