Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth for our products on a national level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with national retail accounts.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with accounts to meet sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
    • Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Work closely with the sales team to create and execute promotional plans.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate sales forecasts.
    • Monitor and manage budgets for promotional activities and account-specific initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, product development, graphic designers and supply chain teams to align strategies.
    • Provide feedback to internal teams based on market trends and customer feedback.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct regular market analysis to identify competitors' activities and market trends.
    • Utilise data and insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to retail partners to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities.
    • Collaborate with the training team to develop training materials and programs.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of sales strategies.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities.
  • Customer Service:
    • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by national retail accounts.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in national account management within the cosmetics or beauty industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with top four grocers or major high street retailers is preferred but not essential.
