Role Overview:

Oversee project initiatives for the M25 motorway on behalf of AtkinsRéalis, managing all phases from conception to completion. Supervise construction endeavors encompassing roadways, tunnels, structures, and technological implementations across the M25 corridor.

Responsibilities:

Primary duties include:

  • Direct projects from inception to conclusion, ensuring collaboration with both internal teams and external partners
  • Lead program management utilizing P6 software, identifying critical path elements
  • Manage project finances, including cost estimation, supplier quotes, and budget management
  • Oversee and commission both internal and external resources to ensure compliance with quality, budget, and timelines
  • Conduct Gateway reviews, ensuring adherence to project governance protocols
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and financial health
  • Participate in collaborative community engagement activities related to the M25
  • Support the organization’s sustainability goals and initiatives
  • Embody the core values of AtkinsRéalis

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management with recognized credentials
  • Preferred degree qualification and membership in a relevant professional body
  • Familiarity with Highway or Structural Engineering and related design disciplines
  • Understanding of CDM regulations, Health & Safety, and Environmental laws
  • Knowledge of NEC and other pertinent contract frameworks
