Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing precise 3-axis CNC programs using VCarve software from full CAD drawings to hand sketches.

Main Responsibilities:

  • CNC Programming: Develop and optimize CNC programs to ensure high-quality output and efficient production processes.
  • Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive supporting documentation from 2D drawings and 3D models to ensure accurate and reliable production.
  • Shop Floor Collaboration: Work closely with our shop floor team to prove and optimize programs, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap, contributing to our company's commitment to excellence.
  • Estimating Support: Leverage your expertise to assist with cutting time estimates, ensuring accurate and reliable production planning.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide shop floor support as needed, ensuring our team has the necessary resources to succeed.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled and experienced in CNC programming and operation.
  • Ability to understand drawings with close tolerances and experience in machining different types of materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently under own initiative and as part of a team.
