Our client, a well-established leader in their field, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as an Engineering Systems Specialist.

About the Role

As an Engineering Systems Specialist, you will lead a team of empowered engineers to deliver innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. You will bring your expertise to contribute to the development of high-performance, cost-effective, and reliable systems and components for a diverse and technically complex product range.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide scientific contributions to the design of products and services, including physics, chemistry, precision mechanics, optics, mathematical analysis, electronic signal processing, and control.
  2. Lead the development of products as part of a multi-disciplinary project team, working within project timescales and providing progress indicators and task estimates as necessary.
  3. Liaise with other groups to transfer designs and define system testing procedures, and collaborate with operations/test teams to ensure system build procedures are appropriate for new systems.
  4. Assist in training courses for internal and external personnel.
  5. Enjoy a hybrid working arrangement and flexible working hours to achieve a good work-life balance.
