Education Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Professional to join our team at Recruitment Education Global Services. The successful candidate will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to students, ensuring a positive learning environment and addressing the individual needs of pupils.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to the class teacher in lesson preparation and delivery, ensuring a seamless and effective educational experience.
- Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy among students.
- Support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, particularly those with additional learning needs, and provide tailored support to enhance their academic progress.
- Help with administrative tasks such as marking and maintaining student records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Supervise students during break times, field trips, and other school activities, promoting a safe and secure environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and social interaction among students, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and any areas of concern, contributing to the development of effective teaching strategies.
- Support with the use of educational technology and resources in the classroom, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and methodologies.

- A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, demonstrating a strong foundation in core subjects.
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, showcasing your expertise in education support.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting between the ages of 4-11, ideally as a Teaching Assistant, highlighting your ability to work with diverse age groups.
- Understanding of child development and learning processes, enabling you to provide effective support and guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating strong relationships with students, teachers, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with students, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children, demonstrating your commitment to education and young people.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and efficient administrative tasks.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, upholding the highest standards of child protection.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum, demonstrating your knowledge of educational frameworks and standards.
