About the Role

Certain Advantage is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our client's team and contribute to their modernisation journey. As a key member of the data services team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing data services that provide senior leadership with valuable insights to inform data-driven decisions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead the modernisation of data services, driving forward technical and service management standards within a respected specialist business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the data service environment, monitoring performance, integrating new data sets and sources using automation tools, and developing secure data marts for end-user self-service reporting.
  • Recommend change projects to enable the data service to deliver increased business value and lead and deliver approved change projects using an agile approach.
  • Ensure data solutions incorporate information security requirements, including GDPR.
Requirements
  • Experience in SQL server, T-SQL, SSRS, and creating secure data marts.
  • Data warehouse and ETL technologies.
  • PowerBI, PowerBI gateway, and DAX to create and deliver reports and dashboards with automated dataflows.
  • ERP solutions and data models for sales order processing, manufacturing, and warehousing.
  • Agile project management using JIRA.
  • ITIL for creating and delivering data services.
  • M365, Teams/SharePoint environment.
  • Information security, including GDPR.
