Lancashire County Council is dedicated to providing catering services to a vast number of educational institutions across Lancashire, delivering over 60,000 meals daily. We are in search of dedicated individuals to become part of our team.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team in the Wyre or Fylde region to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals for school children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up the dining environment for service, which includes arranging and moving furniture as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all catering equipment and areas.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Drivers preferred, but not mandatory if you are willing to use public transport.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in catering and food preparation is advantageous.

Working Hours/Days:

  • Casual hours available on an 'as needed' basis.
