The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Partner to lead our International & Cross-Border ('ICB') team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing teams, with experience in cross-border planning and probate. An ideal candidate will have worked in a specialist cross-border environment, but we are open to candidates who can demonstrate transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising and leading the team on cross-border planning and succession, tax, and probate. They will be a self-motivated individual who can relish the opportunity to become a specialist within a team that focuses exclusively on cross-border work. The candidate will have the ability to advise on the private international law (conflicts of law) of almost every jurisdiction in the world.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working as a solicitor within a specialist cross-border team or equivalent experience in trusts and estates.
  • Experience of supervision and development of other team members.
  • Pro-active business development and marketing skills, with the ability to demonstrate generation of new revenue streams and promote the firm and cross-sell other specialisms internally and externally.
  • Well-organized, technically proficient, and a leader.
