About the Role

At Arnfield Care Limited, we are looking for individuals interested in transitioning within the children's residential care sector, as well as those with relevant transferable skills. We have full-time positions available for Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to join our teams in our well-regarded homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of each young person, addressing their care, educational, social, emotional, and health needs.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries and control over children and young people.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and professionals to advocate for and promote the welfare of young individuals.
  • Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and sleep-ins, as well as participate in residential trips.
  • Foster an inclusive culture that values every team member's contributions and actively combats discrimination.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in children's residential care or similar settings is preferred.
  • Senior roles require relevant qualifications in residential childcare.
  • Commitment to full-time work, including sleep-ins and potential short trips with young people.
  • Ability to drive manual vehicles is necessary.
  • All staff are responsible for safeguarding and promoting equal opportunities.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment checks and maintaining Enhanced DBS clearance.
