Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Development Specialist to join our team at Propsource Consulting. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of projects, attending meetings with clients and local planning authorities, and submitting and monitoring planning applications.
About the Role:
- Support the planning team in the delivery of projects, including regeneration, housing developments, renewable energy, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Attend meetings with clients and local planning authorities to discuss project progress and provide expert advice.
- Submit and monitor planning applications to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Assist with planning appeals and provide representation to local plans and policies.
- Analyse and research policies to inform project decisions and provide recommendations to the team.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree or higher in Town Planning or a related field.
- Have a good understanding of the UK planning system and relevant policies.
- Be a positive, hard-working individual with excellent communication skills.
