About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths, English, or Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve academic success.

Our learners are situated within Hillingdon, and we are looking for a Tutor who can provide tailored support to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tuition to learners, creating engaging lesson plans that cater to their individual needs.
  • Monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • Commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex requirements.
