A leading Construction company in Northern Ireland is seeking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. This role would suit someone with extensive experience carrying out various surveying and analytical duties including but not limited to: management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys, sampling of ACMs, 4 stage clearances, and auditing contractors on site, ensuring work is carried out in line with industry guidelines. You will be working on Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, and Residential sites. Our client can offer a competitive salary (depending on experience), opportunities for overtime with attractive overtime rates, a company vehicle & fuel card, death in service, and private health insurance.

  • Will have experience working hands-on for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
  • Will have experience working on a variety of construction sites, including commercial, healthcare, industrial, and residential sites.
  • Will have experience conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
  • Will have experience sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to safety bag and correctly label prior to sending for analysis.
  • Will have experience conducting re-inspection surveys.
  • Will have experience carrying out various air monitoring duties, e.g., 4 stage clearances, leak, smoke, reassurance, background, visual, and personal air testing.
  • Will have experience auditing of contractors on site.

The Role:

  1. Conducting site surveys to identify potential asbestos hazards.
  2. Sampling and testing of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
  3. Providing recommendations for asbestos removal and remediation.
  4. Ensuring compliance with industry guidelines and regulations.
  5. Auditing contractors on site to ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with industry guidelines.
