About the Job

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a skilled Test Operations Support Engineer to join our Assembly Integration and Test team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supervising test execution activities within the payload AIT facility.

Your Role

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring test safety measures and procedures are adhered to during payload testing
  • Participating in the definition and review of standard bay layouts
  • Carrying out handovers to the next Test Operations Support engineer to ensure key messages are understood
  • Ensuring all tasks are carried out to the correct level of quality and escalating any issues to operations management
  • Participating in PPS sessions to define root causes and escalate as required
Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Electrical and/or RF engineering skills
  • Experience in electrical test environments
  • Minimum HND level or equivalent industry experience in electrical/electronic disciplines, electrical test engineering, or RF and communications
  • Strong electrical/RF test measurement experience
  • Problem-solving aptitudes
  • Clear and confident communication with team members
  • Presentation skills to present project status to peers, managers, and internal customers
  • Flexibility to adapt to different working patterns, including ability to work off-site (UK and abroad)
Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
