This is a fantastic chance for a skilled Laboratory Technician to join a leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. Based in Alfreton, Derbyshire, this onsite role offers a Monday to Friday schedule and the opportunity to work with a market leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Laboratory Coordinator in maintaining product and environmental manufacturing compliance, as well as storage and field activities associated with the core business.
  • Conduct sampling, testing, preparation, and disposal of chemicals and explosives, while assisting with inventory management for laboratory stock and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain effective liaisons and collaboration with colleagues and managers across other departments.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner.
  • Assist with the review of COSHH assessments.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  • Dispose of waste explosives.
Requirements:
  • A Level in Chemistry (or Equivalent).
  • Driving license.
