Job Title: Building Fabrication Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Building Fabrication Engineer to join our Mechanical, Electrical & Building Maintenance Division on a permanent basis based in the North-West England, predominantly in the Merseyside area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to planned and reactive maintenance across the estate comprising multiple buildings within the public sector, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out reactive maintenance to commercial buildings, ensuring Health and Safety procedures and practices are maintained on all contracts.
  • Report to Contract Administrator, Supervisor, Helpdesk, and Contract Manager.
  • Repairs on doors, ceilings, windows, floors, and walls.
  • Produce quotations for defects or at the request of the client.
  • Carry out building fabric installation works, including lock repairs and replacements.
  • Plan and execute maintenance on building fabric.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a facilities management environment is preferred.
  • Maintenance experience is essential.
  • Installation experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience in a similar role.
