As a Quality Technician with our esteemed client, you will play a vital role in supporting the quality assurance team through the thorough inspection and evaluation of materials, components, and finished goods.

This position is well-suited for individuals with a solid background in Quality Inspection, possessing knowledge in calibration, inspection, and internal auditing to enhance processes and protocols. Responsibilities of the Quality Technician include:

  • Conduct quality inspections and identify faults to facilitate the introduction of new products.
  • Analyze quality issues to develop and implement new procedures.
  • Ensure that equipment is calibrated in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Assist quality engineers with new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives during peak periods.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

The ideal Quality Technician will possess:

  • A HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering field.
  • Certification as an ISO internal auditor.
  • Experience as a quality inspector within a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings to identify discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • A solid understanding of ISO standards.
  • A quality-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
