About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing team in Lancashire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production lines and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Manage costs and resources, including waste control, labour, and spare parts, to optimise maintenance efficiency.
- Oversee the CMMS system to ensure effective planning and execution of maintenance activities.
- Spearhead Capex projects, with a budget of around £800k, and contribute to the strategic direction of the site.
- Ensure the successful recruitment, training, and development of the engineering team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.
- Experience with budget management and Capex projects.
- A structured and organised approach to managing maintenance and engineering functions.
