Position Title: Bar Operations Supervisor

Work Environment: Nestled within serene landscaped gardens, this privately owned, family-operated establishment offers breathtaking views and serves classic British fare alongside local produce, including lamb, game, and fish. Guests can also indulge in afternoon tea in a warm lounge setting by the fireplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and uphold the bar and surrounding areas to ensure exceptional service standards and optimize sales.
  • Possess expertise in cocktail preparation.
  • Guarantee that all drink orders are processed accurately and efficiently, with proper documentation and billing.
  • Ensure comprehensive training for all bar staff in their respective duties.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock assessments.
  • Be responsible for all cash transactions and daily financial reconciliations.
  • Meet targeted beverage revenue goals.
  • Maintain appropriate liquor profit margins.
  • Perform management duties as required.

Essential Qualifications: Proficient in bar and wine service, cellar management, beverage inventory and cost control, hygiene standards, and guest relations. Candidates should be IT savvy and possess a personable demeanor that appeals to both corporate guests and special event clients. Skills in enhancing the beverage selection and executing promotional strategies to boost sales are essential. Strong leadership abilities to manage and develop a small team are required.
