As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our client's machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:


The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is tasked with guaranteeing that all necessary machinery, tools, and equipment are available for optimal business operations.

This primarily involves the upkeep of machinery and tools, alongside maintaining building services and integrating new equipment and processes in accordance with the company's New Product Introduction requirements.


Core Duties Include:
- Ensuring a safe working environment
- Reducing machine downtime through regular maintenance and servicing
- Supplying tools to the Operations team to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives
- Actively enhancing machine and process reliability and capability
- Training staff in Preventative Maintenance techniques
- Fabricating tools and equipment to reduce costs
- Maintaining service records and creating drawings to ensure data integrity

Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering with experience in traditional and CNC machine tools
- Practical experience in a similar role
- Electrical knowledge, particularly in machine controls
- Competence in IT, including MS Office and Sage MRP, along with strong problem-solving abilities
- Formal qualifications such as HND in Engineering and Electrical Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
