Job Title: Director, Global Research

About
NCC Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Global Research to lead our research strategy and drive innovation across our organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and executing our research vision, fostering a culture of excellence, and collaborating with academia and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy aligned with business priorities
- Lead the production of NCC Group's annual research report
- Collaborate with product management, threat intelligence, and product innovation functions to drive research engagement and innovation
- Build and manage a high-performing research community, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusivity
- Liaise with global teams to align research with client issues and innovation goals
- Promote research outputs through various channels, serving as the main point of contact and public face for NCC Group's research
- Manage annual research budgets, ensuring effective allocation and utilization
Requirements:
- Proven leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in research delivery, with a background in cybersecurity preferred
- Ability to grasp research concepts across technologies and communicate them in a customer's context
- Strong communication skills, both written and public speaking
- Ability to work with different work cultures and styles
- Leading through influence in a matrix organization
