Editorial Features Editor

We are seeking an experienced and creative Features Editor to join our dynamic editorial team at Hello Limited. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for compelling stories, bringing in agenda-setting exclusives, a knack for shaping engaging narratives, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with art and design hubs to ensure optimal layouts for features, both in print and digital format.
  • Be agile and adaptable and have a passion for news, entertainment, royal and society stories and a sharp news sense.
  • Have strong writing and editing skills with scrupulous attention to detail and media law. This requires experience and knowledge of working across print and digital products and a strong understanding of data, social media, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Set up exclusive interviews and shoots and commission content which are relevant for HELLO, breaking celebrity stories in keeping with our brand ethos to inspire, entertain and educate our audience.
  • Forward plan the feature sections throughout the year, with aspirational and elegant shoots which showcase HELLO's trustworthy, kind, positive and celebratory voice, featuring the crème de la crème of society and the entertainment world which appeal to our audience and advertisers.
  • Work with the team on special issue magazines during the year.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a features or news role, within the media industry.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in digital publishing tools and content management systems.
  • A deep understanding of current trends and issues in the media landscape.
