Gastroenterology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterology Consultant to join our dynamic team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
About the Role
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our Gastroenterology department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist knowledge and expertise in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine to complement and develop existing services.
- Deliver high-quality independent services, demonstrating expertise in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine.
- Participate in the undergraduate teaching programme and assist with the development of postgraduate training for junior and middle-grade medical staff.
- Act as an Educational Supervisor, responsible for appraisal and personal development planning of junior and middle-grade medical staff.
- Contribute to risk management and quality assurance initiatives.
- Respond appropriately to complaints and critical incidents.
