Compensation: £12.82-£25.64 (includes holiday pay)

Vetro Housing is actively seeking dedicated support workers to assist in various homeless shelters across Aberdare and nearby regions on a flexible and ongoing basis.
We are in search of individuals who are committed to providing support and guidance to those experiencing homelessness. A strong value system and an empathetic approach are essential for engaging with individuals in supported housing settings.
Your responsibilities will include supporting a diverse range of individuals, including those who are homeless, individuals with mental health challenges, learning disabilities, those recovering from substance misuse, and individuals fleeing domestic violence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with shelter rules and regulations among residents
- Provide emotional support to individuals residing in the shelter
- Communicate health and safety procedures clearly and ensure adherence
- Offer relevant information to all visitors of the shelter
- Collaborate with Housing Officers to address client needs
- Promote equality and diversity within the organization
- Maintain high standards of customer care
