About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service as a Psychosis Care Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing psychosis for the first time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, care planning, and care coordination to individuals with first episode psychosis.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a recovery-focused approach to care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that promote recovery and independence.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., mental health nursing, social work, occupational therapy).
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
  • Post-registration experience in acute mental health services, including solid Band 5 experience.
  • Experience of working in crisis situations and emotionally demanding environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
