Job Description

Role Overview

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. This role requires a strong leader who can implement and maintain efficient inventory management processes, working closely with the Warehouse Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the organisation of training and recruitment within the warehouse.
  • Supervise and motivate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Effectively plan for all warehouse resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Utilise data analysis and reporting to optimise warehouse performance and minimise costs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • IT skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience in ecommerce fulfilment is advantageous.
