Job Overview

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a pivotal role in the daily delivery of photovoltaic (PV) and general domestic electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and oversee the installation of photovoltaic (PV) systems and general electrical upgrades.
    • Ensure all team members are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Inspections and Compliance
    • Conduct Pre-Installation Building Inspections (PIBI's) in line with PAS2030, ensuring compliance with MCS and PAS2030 standards.
    • Verify that all installations meet the required safety and quality standards.
  • Planning and Support
    • Assist with planning submissions, DNO applications, and internal audits.
    • Support the team with technical surveys, design justifications, and material statements.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure all health and safety requirements are met, produce risk assessments, and manage material orders.
    • Maintain a safe working environment for all team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management
    • Excellent management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate the team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Extensive knowledge of electrical installations, including PV systems and domestic electrical upgrades.
    • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Business Acumen
    • Understanding of business operations and the ability to contribute to strategic decision-making.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
