About the Role
The Orpheus Centre is seeking a visionary and inspiring Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization to the next level. As a strategic leader, you will oversee the operations, growth, and long-term sustainability of the Centre, leading a team of over 100 staff and 50 volunteers serving a community of nearly 70 students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Centre, ensuring its continued success and growth.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the Centre's strategic plan, aligning with the organization's mission and values.
- Lead a team of senior managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, donors, and the broader community.
- Ensure the Centre's compliance with regulatory requirements, such as those of Ofsted and/or CQC.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successful strategic leadership in the nonprofit or education sector.
- Experience and/or involvement in successful capital campaigns and major fundraising initiatives.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to ensure compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence staff, students, partners, and the broader community.
