The compensation for this role ranges from £420 to £450 per week.

To qualify for this position, candidates must be recent psychology graduates eager to embark on a career in education. There are opportunities for further training and potential permanent teaching roles for those who demonstrate the right skills and commitment.

Applicants must be prepared to undergo a fully enhanced DBS check and provide at least two professional references. Familiarity with safeguarding procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with additional SEN and SEMH needs, including conditions such as autism and ADHD.
  • Work with students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to address their specific learning requirements.
  • Assist students in following their Educational Healthcare Plans (ECHPs).
  • Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers, parents, and the students themselves.
  • Manage student behavior effectively and build positive relationships to support their development.
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding procedures and address situations appropriately.
