Contract Type: Contract - Outside IR35
Daily Rate: Up to £550.00
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extensions)
Work Location: On-site in London & Cheltenham (5 days per week)
Clearance Requirement: Active DV Clearance is mandatory
Identify Solutions is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with DV Clearance to join our team on a contract basis. This role is integral to our security and defense technology consultancy, where you will contribute to the maintenance and support of a managed cross-domain service.
As part of a dedicated on-site team, you will leverage a variety of technologies, platforms, and tools to ensure optimal service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing application support in a managed service environment, emphasizing service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Engaging in application development utilizing Java or similar programming languages.
- Utilizing Git for version control to manage code effectively.
- Employing critical thinking skills to analyze issues, test hypotheses, and make informed decisions regarding risks.
- Adapting quickly to changing priorities during incident response situations.
While not required, experience in application deployment and administration, particularly with micro-service architectures, asynchronous messaging, Terraform/Ansible, or Oracle, would be advantageous.
