Recruit Insure Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Property Claims Handler to join their team. As a Property Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of property and liability claims for both the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigation and Settlement: Investigate, negotiate, and agree settlement of claims in a professional manner.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with insured, insurers/brokers to achieve professional and timely conclusion of claims.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with stakeholders overseas to ensure effective communication and resolution of claims.
- Reporting and Compliance: Produce reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines in accordance with agreed timescales.
- Time Reporting and Billing: Ensure time reporting and billing is compliant with internal standards, processing, and systems.
- Invoice Accuracy: Ensure invoices raised are accurate and timely.
- Collaboration: Liaise closely with other Adjusters where appropriate.
- Client Review Meetings: Attend client review meetings to ensure effective communication and resolution of claims.
- Experience: Ideally, successful candidates will have gained experience in the real estate/commercial property loss adjusting sectors, demonstrating a focus on quality, communication, and organisational skills.
- European Claims Experience: Previous European claims experience is required.
- Negotiation and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven capability in negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management.
- Relationship Building: An ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally is imperative.
- Professional Qualification: It would be desirable for candidates to be professionally qualified or working towards a professional qualification.
- Bonus Scheme: Bonus scheme which is 10% of your annual salary based on team and personal performance.
