Join Knight Frank, the world's leading independent international property consultancy, as a Capital Markets Researcher, Associate. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work within our 25-strong Commercial Research function, delivering a broad range of market research and thought leadership covering the UK real estate investment markets.
Responsibilities- Provide real estate capital markets, economics, and occupier insight through written commentary, thought leadership, and flash updates for internal and external real estate capital markets stakeholders.
- Engage directly with clients, presenting real estate capital markets analysis and commentary internally and externally.
- Line manage one Capital Markets Analyst.
- Respond to time-sensitive internal and external bespoke requests.
- Prioritize across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Manage the content for the capital markets portal of the Knight Frank Intelligence Lab, as well as oversee the internal Capital Markets Sharepoint page.
- Be the spokesperson for UK Capital Markets real estate research.
- Degree qualified, with an aptitude for quantitative techniques, an analytical approach to completing assignments, and strong attention to detail.
- An interest in drawing conclusions from the analysis of data and an ability to articulate these in a clear and engaging way.
- An interest in working closely with the capital markets and other KF teams.
- An interest in news, current affairs, and how this links back to the commercial real estate investment market.
- A team player who is approachable, enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated, with a passion for excellence and strong commerciality.
- A networker who is able to build rapport, develop relationships, and gain trust with internal and external clients.
- Create compelling narratives through verbal, visual, written, and data-led means to communicate messages appropriately to different audiences.

- Skilled at drawing key themes from data to construct an argument in a clear and logical way, including considering the UK in a global context.
- Able to present and otherwise communicate information in an engaging manner to audiences ranging from individuals in the capital markets business, to small client groups, and larger gatherings.
- Ability to synthesize data and themes into succinct and relevant messages.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities as needed and concurrently manage a diverse range of projects.
