Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our project managers to develop and implement cost-effective construction strategies.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare and present detailed cost reports and forecasts to stakeholders, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
  • Manage and analyze project budgets, identifying areas of overspend and implementing corrective actions to ensure project delivery within budget.
  • Provide expert advice on construction cost management, including cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our construction management processes and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of our company's construction management policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Experience working in a pre-fabrication role would be highly beneficial.
  • Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
