Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. As a key member of our Private Equity, Real Estate, and Corporate Services teams, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and working closely with our management and junior staff to deliver high-quality financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary accounting liaison and point of contact for certain clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with our corporate administrators to prepare periodic reports and regulatory reports for our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide technical coaching and guidance to junior staff, helping to develop their skills and expertise in financial services.
  • Work closely with our management team to plan and implement the fund accounting workflow process, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of financial services.
  • Ensure effective cash management of client entities, reviewing and reconciling cash transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare financial statements and management accounts for our clients, utilizing UK GAAP or IFRS standards.
  • Liaise with tax advisors to ensure ongoing tax compliance and provide guidance on tax planning to our clients.
  • Participate in a team of experienced accountants, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met and delivering high-quality financial services to our clients.

Requirements

  • Hold a recognized accounting qualification, such as ACCA or ACA.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in funds accounting, corporate services, or audit.
  • Be ambitious and highly motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Be adaptable and flexible, with the ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly.
  • Have a strong team spirit and be able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
