Position Summary:
The Lead Cybersecurity Specialist will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's systems and assets. This position involves leveraging advanced tools and expertise to maintain high security standards. The successful candidate will guide various teams and projects to adhere to specific security controls, ensuring the protection of sensitive data.
Work Environment: We promote a flexible working model, typically involving a mix of office and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience in information security, including the development and review of technical security documentation.
- In-depth understanding of security threats, concepts (such as RBAC, Encryption, Secure Protocols, Patching, Logging, Monitoring), and frameworks (including ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP).
- Ability to think strategically and tactically, with a proven track record of achieving objectives through analysis and informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Strong documentation abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Familiarity with various computerized systems and technologies (including Unix/Windows Operating Systems, Networking Protocols, Cloud Infrastructure, and Web Services) is advantageous.
