Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join our MASH team in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining relationships with various teams and local authorities to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
- Gathering and analyzing relevant information from partner agencies to inform professional judgments and recommendations.
- Working within referral and assessment teams or screening teams to take referrals about children at risk of significant harm.
- Screening for children involved in domestic abuse and undertaking s17 assessments and interventions with children and families.
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience of working in a similar social work setting.
- Child-focused approach with the ability to implement relationship-based and systemic-based practices.
- Good knowledge of the issues and risks faced by children in care and the procedures to manage these.
- Ability to work well individually and within a team.
