Senior Financial Analyst

This position's primary responsibility is ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounting information in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and the firm's accounting policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include regulatory reporting, tax schedules, and managing Partner lifecycle schedules.
- Support the annual allocation process with reports by office, BU, and Tier for both Equity and Non-equity Partners.
- Proactively work with Partners to help them understand their cash flows, income, taxes, and the payment process, especially as Partners join the firm or elevate to the role of Partner.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the firm's integrated financial system, especially as it relates to maintaining the Equity/Partner Accounts.
- Prepare complicated monthly account reconciliations for firm accounts, including multi-currency reconciliations in cash and accrual.
- Assist in the preparation of schedules for all firm audits (US, UK, Germany, and HK), related to the Equity section of the financials.
- Assist in the preparation of several tax schedules, for preparing tax returns in several international jurisdictions.
- Act as a mentor to other accountants to facilitate the recording of new and complicated accounting and tax transactions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of related financial management experience in a professional service organization.
- Excellent computer skills, proficiency in spreadsheet software applications, and ability to train others in their use.
