Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Operations Manager to join our esteemed organization. This role offers the flexibility of remote work within the UK, with the possibility of travel as required.

Compensation:
Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum, plus additional benefits.

Key Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in a similar capacity
  • Significant experience in collaborating with third-party vendors to facilitate project success
  • Strong technical acumen with the capability to engage hands-on when necessary, though this position is primarily strategic
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects related to Telecommunications, Cloud Services, Networking, and Microsoft 365
  • Ability to collaborate with a small team to develop and modify Windows Architecture as required
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies is highly advantageous

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the tracking, reporting, and communication of major incidents
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective third-party support and consultancy
  • Conduct regular reviews of system permissions for both internal and external teams
  • Own and maintain the desktop and server build definitions, ensuring compliance with security protocols
  • Serve as a key escalation point for service-impacting issues within the organization
  • Ensure the timely escalation of incidents and adherence to operational level agreements (OLAs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Provide guidance and support to end users
  • Document core processes for the infrastructure team’s activities
  • Ensure that all network, server, or telephony-related issues are addressed by third-party suppliers promptly, in line with SLAs
  • Develop project scopes for new infrastructure initiatives, considering resources, costs, and timelines
  • Collaborate with users and vendors to ensure thorough testing, user training, and documentation in accordance with business standards
