Working Hours:

Multiple shifts available:

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Overtime opportunities available

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranging from £11.44 to £12.91

Role Overview:

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be expected to work efficiently under pressure while ensuring safety and security. A strong desire to learn and grow is essential. This role is hands-on and physically demanding.

  • Unloading and pre-sorting of materials from delivery vehicles.
  • Sorting items for processing.
  • Loading and unloading washing machines as per training.
  • Moving materials throughout the production area as directed.
  • Conducting quality inspections on items during processing.
  • Identifying and segregating substandard items for reprocessing.
  • Packing finished products for distribution.
  • Assisting with general duties, including cleaning and waste management.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment standards.
  • Ensuring cleanliness to minimize workplace hazards.
  • Repairing garments using various sewing machines to a high standard.

Required Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining concentration.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding basic English.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and responsible attitude.
  • Motivated and committed to the role. Experience in a high-volume production setting is advantageous, but comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods with good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
