Exciting Opportunity for Clinicians

We are seeking qualified clinicians to join our team as Functional Assessors, supporting Personal Independence Payment assessments (PIP) at Ingeus UK, part of the global human services provider APM Group.

About the Role

As a Functional Assessor, you will conduct comprehensive PIP functional assessments, evaluating claimants' ability to undertake activities of daily living repeatedly and safely. You will investigate the impact of variability, chronic, and multiple health issues, and prepare detailed reports outlining claimants' functional abilities with well-reasoned recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive PIP functional assessments
  • Investigate the impact of health issues on daily life
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality service
  • Contribute to the improvement of health assessment services
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months of post-graduate experience as a registered RGN Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist
  • Strong critical analysis and logical thinking skills
  • Good level of IT literacy
