Line Up Aviation is seeking a Quality Assurance Conformance Specialist to join our team on a contractual basis. You will report directly to the Head of Quality Conformance and be an integral part of the Quality Conformance Team.
Position Overview:
- Quality Assurance Conformance Specialist
Work Environment:
- Primarily onsite
Contract Duration:
- Defined contract length
Security Clearance:
- BPSS clearance is required to commence
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday - 06:00 to 15:45
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate via Umbrella, within IR35 regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks in accordance with Conformance Engineering principles to minimize the Cost of Non-Quality
- Collaborate with diverse teams to pinpoint and implement Quality Enhancement opportunities
- Lead initiatives related to Quality Improvement Projects (QIP)
- Address issues affecting Quality performance and apply Quality tools and methodologies
- Establish and disseminate AOS Quality standards within the facility
- Review and formulate Operational Surveillance check criteria
- Conduct Quality investigations and manage CAIRs
- Oversee the clearance of Plant QSR, SARI, and Events
- Enhance personal expertise and skills in Quality Conformance Engineering
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a quality conformance position
- Background in manufacturing engineering
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and comprehensive understanding of documentation
- Familiarity with aircraft manufacturing and process enhancement
- Exceptional communication skills with experience in cross-functional team collaboration
- Strong IT capabilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP
- Trained in problem-solving techniques and methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in English and mathematics
