Job Title: Chef/Cook

The Aurora Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at Aurora Rowan School. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our students with complex dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs of our students
  • Source and manage food suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Collaborate with the School Business Manager to ensure effective food service operations
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certified or above
