About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project and Design Engineer to join our team at EnerSys Delaware Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of new manufacturing systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of new processes and products, from concept design to production launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and quality delivery.
  • Design and implement manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
  • Develop technical specifications and estimates for new manufacturing systems and machinery.
  • Advise and coordinate with technical and process engineering teams on new equipment and process design.
  • Review and select modern manufacturing techniques to drive efficiency and cost improvement.
  • Lead and manage site projects from specification development to commissioning and validation.
Requirements
  • BSc/BEng/MEng degree in Manufacturing Systems, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt or Green Belt qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
