About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Advance. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and mental health conditions to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, as required
  • Administer medication, as required
  • Support with preparing and cooking meals
  • Accompany individuals to medical appointments
  • Participate in social activities and support independent skills
  • Contribute to domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Maintain accurate records and update care plans as necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with training and professional development
Waking Night Activities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, as required
  • Ensure the premises are secure and safe during the night
  • Support with meal times and food preparation, as required
  • Administer medication, as required
  • Support independent skills and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry
About You

We are looking for a Support Worker who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. You will need to be:

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to complete high-quality support records
  • Available to work every other weekend
  • Willing to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments, and maintain accurate customer records
  • Literate and numerate in English
  • Committed to achieving the Care Certificate
