Job Title: Quality Control Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Analyst to join our team at LiCa Scientific Ltd. As a Quality Control Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Quality Control Analytical Testing: Conduct routine laboratory procedures, including the analysis of incoming goods, intermediates, and finished products, to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Sample Management: Receive, label, and store chemicals, reagents, and lab supplies in designated areas, and manage electronic tracking of samples, product retains, and archive records.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, such as analytical write-ups, standard operating procedures, specifications, investigations, certificates, and reports.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform planned preventative maintenance and performance calibrations on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Training and Development: Maintain own training records and support and train other team members as required.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with others on site and internationally, and participate in problem-solving activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with HSE, PPI, and 5S in mind at all times, and participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the team and department.

Requirements:

  • Education: Qualified to degree level in Chemistry or a strongly related scientific discipline.
  • Experience: Experience or strong knowledge of instrumental and traditional analytical techniques, such as GC, HPLC, ICP, and Titration.
  • Skills: Ability to work to critical timelines, build positive working relationships with internal and external business customers and clients, and possess excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.
