Blue Arrow Edinburgh is seeking a Product Innovation Specialist for our esteemed Manufacturing client located in the west side of Edinburgh.

This position offers a full-time permanent opportunity with the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Product Development team, engaging closely with both clients and the sales department to introduce new innovations.

We are in search of an individual who is exceptionally organized, possesses strong analytical abilities, and excels at problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the product offerings, emphasizing how these products fulfill customer requirements.
  • Actively advocate for the business and its diverse product range.
  • Initiate and oversee projects across a broad spectrum of products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and clients to identify needs and devise effective solutions.
  • Work in close partnership with various departments across mainland Europe.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding non-commercial project management.
* Collaborate closely with the external sales team to comprehend new product specifications.
* Accurately organize and document samples to ensure the smooth operation of team activities.

  • Provide general administrative support to the team, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a flexible approach to assisting colleagues.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and adapt to challenging situations.
  • Ambitious and target-driven.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
  • Previous experience in a project-oriented or product development role is highly advantageous.
