About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in the Severn Trent region. As a key member of our SHEQ team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day health and safety duties, contributing to the development of our regional safety strategy, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and HSE guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and implement HSE guidance and best practices.
  2. Conduct systematic audits and inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with legislative and health & safety management systems.
  3. Monitor and ensure the resolution of health and safety issues.
  4. Assist the project team with risk assessments and identify suitable control measures.
  5. Develop and maintain safety-related documentation, including manuals, procedures, and guidance notes.
  6. Liaise with clients, HSE Inspectors, and external assessors.
  7. Support the project team in creating a positive health & safety culture.
