About Our Client

Our client is a leading international manufacturer and retailer with a global sales reach of 500 million. The UK office oversees sales in major retailers through wholesale and e-commerce channels, sourcing the majority of its products from the manufacturing facility. They are currently transitioning the finance function in-house, as the UK accounting is currently outsourced to a firm of accountants.

Job Overview

  • Perform Balance Sheet Control Account Reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Deliver Month End close and prepare a monthly set of Management Accounts to provide stakeholders with timely financial insights.
  • Utilize financial tools to analyze the UK business, confident in handling data sets in Excel, and reconcile stock back to 3rd party warehouses to maintain asset integrity within the balance sheet.
  • Prepare for the annual stocktake for the year-end audit to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop cash flows and financial forecasts to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE qualification
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous, but exposure to ERP systems and expertise in managing financial ledgers effectively is more important.
