Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and supervise the daily laundry operation to ensure efficient and effective processing of laundry.
- Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties to a high standard.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality in the laundry area.
- Collaborate with the laundry team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure all laundry equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
- Develop and implement procedures to minimize laundry costs while maintaining hotel and company standards.
- Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in quality control checks to ensure high standards of cleanliness and quality are maintained.
- Contribute to the development of the laundry team by providing guidance, support, and feedback.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a laundry operation, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends.
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and best practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
